What about me?

“In West Philadelphia born and raised….” well you know rest, well maybe not. After getting out of high school my itch to get out of town brought me to my happiest place on earth at the time, Walt Disney World, where I worked for EPCOT center as an operations hostess. I loved it and hey I think that is what made me fall in love with the world and the culture beyond what I was exposed to in West Philly.

I met, married and followed my first husband up and down the east coast taking me from the mountains of West (by God) Virginia, to Michigan to Fort Lauderdale, Columbia, South Carolina and finally over 17 years ago to Apex, North Carolina, where I consider my home.

I have worked for Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business since 2008 and hope to spend my final working days there.

Evendently, 2008 was a big year for me because I married my 2nd husband and we have been going strong ever since. The 3 girls we bring to our marriage (2 from my previous and one from his), quickly became sisters and 6, 7, and 8 and are still at it at 20, 21 and 22. We have been blessed by these “monkey’s” and you’ll hear more than you care to through out my blog.
